– An Inspired Weekend Retreat –
Fear, anxiety and stress are common causes of chakra blocks that can disrupt harmony in our bodies and cause disease, as well as, emotional and mental disorders in the physical body.
Yoga Art Therapy is a weekend retreat program created to support you in gaining improved physical, mental and emotional health. During this 2.5 day immersive retreat, Souren Mousavi, Award Winning Artist and Certified Yoga Instructor, will guide your exploration of mind and body through yoga, chakra meditation, sound healing and painting workshops.
Through interactive yoga and art workshops you will learn about movement, lines, colors and their relationship to your experience in life as shapes, forms and vibrations. You will learn to focus on simplicity, gaining insight on how to settle your mind and generate a sense a balance within you. This program is intended to increase your clarity on how to generate vital energy that is directed to manifesting what you seek in your life. Ultimately, you will get to reflect on who you are with yourself.
Between activities, you’ll have free time to immerse yourself in nature on the 2 acre riverfront property , kayak along the Indian River, enjoy a bike ride or relax in your private cottage.

Your Retreat Facilitator
Souren began her yoga journey 10 years ego and her unconditional love for yoga is still evolving even as a teacher. She is Persian/British, a highly respected and award winning international artist with 18 years experience of exposing her artwork across Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and the USA. For her it has been a huge privilege on this journey to practice both the physicality and the spirituality of yoga, learning and developing its’ benefits with some of the most well-known and respected yoga masters around the world.
Souren’s passion for yoga changed her life resulting in her becoming a master in her own right in Miami, Florida – the city of sun and a US center of Hot Power/Vinyasa yoga. Her life experience has granted her an understanding of the human condition seldom found amongst even the oldest yogi’s around the world.
Her goal as a teacher is to continue to deepen her practice and understanding of the art of yoga and to share her knowledge with all who choose to follow her.
Her teachings encourage a focus on breathing, the attainment of balance of mind and body through practice combined with targeted alignments. Each and every asana brings its own resultant benefits. Souren pursues perfection for her students not for its own sake but for the rewards gained for body, mind and spirit. Few masters around the world have overcome the types of challenges Souren has faced and her age belies her experience and skills. Whilst other masters may be able to demonstrate greater physical prowess through decades of practice none can match her understanding of the human condition or lay claim to having overcome greater spiritual challenges.
